WELCOME TO CARRICK CRAFT IRELAND

Ireland, located on the outer most fringes of Western Europe, is renowned for being one of Europe's premier destinations for inland cruising holidays. With lush green countryside, silvery rivers, rich heritage and a warm welcome, Ireland offers a unique experience, which is second to none. From Belleek at the northern tip of Lough Erne to Killaloe at the Southern end of the river Shannon, there are 300 miles of inter-connecting rivers and lakes. Navigation between the North and South of Ireland has been made possible by the re-opening of the Shannon-Erne Waterway linking two of Ireland's great rivers-The Shannon and The Erne. Carrickcraft is the only Cruiser company with Marinas in both Ireland and Northern Ireland.

As holidays don't have to begin and end at the same Marina, enormous flexibility and choice is available when it comes to pre-planning one's voyage. All three Marinas are ideally located to optimise the choice and quality of cruising routes available. There is also good accessibility by road to the Marinas with free car parking facilities available for visitors. There are scheduled coaches to and from Belfast, Dublin, Knock and Shannon Airports.

The timing of these coaches is arranged to connect with as many arrival and departure flights as possible. Additional information for each Marina, including transport details is available, please click the relevant button to access same.
Banagher

'You can't beat Banagher' goes the old saying - so that's where Carrickcraft based their southern marina. Banagher in County Offaly is ideally placed to cruise the Shannon south from Athlone, but a whole week could be spent happily cruising Lough Derg. With mountains sweeping down to the water, Derg is quite different to the cliffs of Lower Lough Erne or the flatlands of Lough Ree. Quaint villages such as Garrykennedy, Mountshannon and Terryglass have Award-winning pubs and restaurants.

Carrick On Shannon
The marina at Carrick-on-Shannon was the first marina opened by Carrickcraft over 35 years ago. The town has changed, but move a mile up or down river and it could be the same place as 1974. The north Shannon is probably the most lively section of the river. There are plenty of small villages along the way with good moorings and facilities.
Tully Bay

Tully Bay is situated just 12 miles from Enniskillen on the Western shores of Lower Lough Erne. It is ideally placed to explore the whole of Lower and Upper Lough Erne and gives easy access to Belleek and Kesh as well as the many restaurants on the shoreside. Enniskillen is only a few hours away by boat and then on to Upper Lough Erne and the Shannon/Erne waterway.

Lower Bann
Running from Toomebridge on the shores of Lough Neagh to Coleraine, the Bann is a beautifully scenic river with an excellent navigation system and an unspoilt environment. It is anticipated that a 7-day holiday will allow travellers to see all of the river and to have some extra time to discover the hinterland. Waterways Ireland have already installed the navigation system similar to that on Lough
Erne so will be familiar to many of Carrickcraft’s clients.
